The stem is one of the main part of the bike because its length is very important to feel comfortable on your bike.

The stem for a threaded fork bike is so called “quill” stem, it means is 1 inch (22.2mm) and it fits only threaded fork and relative headset.

Brands to search for:

Nitto, Cinelli, Weinmann, Philippe, Sakae Custom, Titan, Ambrosio.

Before you buy:

• Be sure you bike had a threaded fork otherwise threadless fork requires a different kind of stem that I usually don’t use so I’m not an expert on that. 
• Some stems come in chrome finish, other in satin, so be sure to match chrome/chrome or satin/satin for a better look (and try matching it also with the seatpost finish.)
